El comediante Jimmy Kimmel conducirá la ceremonia de los Oscar en febrero

La premiación que corona las mejores películas del año se llevará a cabo el 26 de febrero en Los Ángeles. El conductor anunció desde su cuenta de Twitter la novedad.

El comediante y presentador estadounidense Jimmy Kimmel será el conductor de la 89 entrega de los premios Oscar, que se realizará el 26 de febrero en Los Ángeles.

"Sí, voy a presentar los Oscar. No es ninguna broma. Y si lo es, mi venganza contra la @TheAcademy será terrible y dulce", publicó en su cuenta de Twitter el conductor de 49 años.

El presentador del talkshow "Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel", emitido en la cadena ABC desde 2003, debutará como animador de la gala de los Oscar, luego de conducir en septiembre la ceremonia de los Emmy.
