Coronavirus en Chaco: 21 nuevos casos en la provincia, el total asciende a 788 contagios

Del total de contagios por COVID-19, 46 se encuentran internados y 12 de ellos en estado de gravedad con asistencia respiratoria mecánica.

El Ministerio de Salud de Chaco informó a través de un nuevo parte epidemiológico 21 nuevos casos de coronavirus en la provincia. Hasta el momento se confirmaron 788 casos de COVID-19 y el número de fallecidos continua en 45 personas.

Del total de personas confirmadas con el virus SARS-CoV-2, 315 ya fueron dadas de alta. Mientras que del restante de los casos activos, 46 se encuentran internados y 12 de ellos en estado de gravedad con asistencia respiratoria mecánica.

El subsecretario de Salud, Alejandro García, informó que hasta el momento "hemos aumentado el numero de casos por aumento de contagios en el barrio Toba".

En cuanto a modalidad de contagio, indicó que el 42% es por contacto estrecho, 21% no se identifican nexos y el 20% mediante contacto por conglomerado. Hasta la fecha, se tomaron un total de 5893 muestras, de las cuales el 13,4% resultaron positivas.

En este sentido, se informó que las localidades más afectadas siguen siendo la ciudad de Resistencia, Barranqueras, Fontana, Puerto Vilelas y Puerto Bermejo.
