El delantero llega afilado al partido por las eliminatorias de la Selección ante Uruguay.

Inter venció como local 3-0 a la Fiorentina con un doblete de Mauro Icardi por la primera jornada del fútbol italiano.

El argentino anotó a los seis minutos, de penal, y a los 15 de cabeza. En tanto, el croata Iván Perisic selló el resultado.

De esta manera, Icardi llega afilado al partido del 31 de agosto ante Uruguay por las Eliminatorias para el Mundial de Rusia 2018.
