El Presidente y el Rey de España hicieron un minuto de silencio en la Plaza de Catalunya por las víctimas del atentado

Las autoridades se reunieron a las 12 del mediodía (hora local) y homenajearon a las personas fallecidas.

Este viernes, a las 12 del mediodía (hora de España) el Rey Felipe y el presidente Mariano Rajoy llegaron a la Plaza Catalunya para participar de un masivo minuto de silencio en homenaje a las víctimas y heridos del atentado en La Rambla de Barcelona y en Cambrils.

"Don Felipe ha suspendido sus vacaciones secretas, de las que Zarzuela no ofrece ningún detalle al tratarse de cuestiones privadas de los Reyes, para unirse al minuto de silencio en solidaridad con las víctimas del atentado", informaron medios españoles.

Por su parte, la Comisión Europea (CE) también guardó un minuto de silencio. El Ejecutivo comunitario respetó ese momento de luto a las 12.00 en la sede de la Comisión Europea.
