Atentado en Manchester: identificaron al supuesto atacante como Salman Abedi

El joven, de 23 años, era buscado desde antes por la policía del Reino Unido.

De acuerdo a lo informado por la cadena de noticias CBS, el atacante suicida que se hizo inmolar en los alrededores del Manchester Arena durante un show de la cantante estadounidense Ariana Grande fue identificado como Salman Abedi.

El sospechoso, que murió en el ataque, tenía 23 años y era conocido y perseguido por la policía del Reino Unido.

Por su parte, el grupo terrorista Estado Islámico (EI) asumió la autoría del atentado en Manchester, y afirmó que un "soldado del califato colocó varios paquetes bomba" alrededor de la ciudad.
